When we first began developing the series, there was never a doubt: an old wizard with a tall hat and a white beard had to live in this town. A fantasy setting without magic wouldn't be very fantastical at all!

This project may result in nothing more than a single book on a couple of bookshelves for our friends and family. That’s probably a fairly likely outcome, and we could achieve that even without a crowdfunding campaign. But Sid and I have spent some time thinking about where we want to take this project if interest is high and support is significant. Here are some of our thoughts on the future.

Hopefully after reviewing Part 1 of this series you thought to yourself “Why yes, I have noticed that classic fantasy is missing in children’s literature and I’m certain that I want that gap filled!” If so, then undoubtedly your next question would be “But who can possibly take on such a monumental and important task?”
